Details of the Campaign which is currently underway within Scotland are also contained within this site as well as details on the activity underway within the NHS in Scotland. This campaign has been developed in conjunction with the Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) Taskforce within the Scottish Executive Health Department. The HAI Task Force, led by the Chief Medical Officer, was established in 2003 and is responsible for tackling HAI through a comprehensive, coherent, wide-ranging and multi-disciplinary approach.
