The intensive use of toxic insecticides and other toxic chemicals has caused serious health problems and environmental impacts. The use of non renewable energy (fossil fuel) also has an impact. It causes a shortgage in supply, requires dependance on others to meet that supply, and increases greenhouse gases, which impacts climate changes.
