 Generally, a small tree formed over many long years by humans, which grows in a pot (usually ceramic one), and which creates a harmonic feeling, is called a bonsai tree. Even though the first bonsai trees originated in Chinese gardens, all the knowledge come from Japan. Unlike paintings or sculptures, a tree lives it’s own life, might change as time goes by and needs your care.
